Hi and welcome to Richard Rayner Photography. I’m a Devon wedding photographer and offer contemporary Wedding Photography in Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and throughout the south coast of England including wedding photography in London.

I first picked up a camera at the age of 14 – a gift from my father who realised that his son’s indifferent attitude towards school studies meant a more vocational career should be encouraged. Completely self-taught, I’ve worked as a full-time professional photographer for the past 20 years – thanks, Dad.

From shooting surfing in Barbados to weddings in France, potato fields in Cornwall and child portraiture across the country, my career has been wide and varied. Home is in the heart of rural Devon with no mobile signal – perfect. I have a half-share in four children, three dogs, two chickens and a vegetable patch. Happiness is standing over a barbecue on a hot summer’s day or heading to the coast with my wife to catch mackerel from our kayaks.
